What is music presentation?
Musical presentation (MP) is a diagnostic and therapeutic music therapy tool which focuses on the participant’s emotional exploration and awareness-insight development. Using this tool people present themselves through music of their choice and subsequently receive feedback from their peers. Music can raise someone’s mood, get them excited, or make them calm and relaxed. Music also – and this is important – allows us to feel nearly or possibly all emotions that we experience in our lives. The possibilities are endless.
