Compulsory basic training ( CBT ) is a course you usually have to take before you ride a moped or motorcycle on the road. The training makes sure you can ride safely on your own while you practise for your full moped or motorcycle test. CBT is not a test that you pass or fail.
How do I pass my CBT?
One of the best tips for passing CBT training is to practice on a bicycle before you take any CBT course. Borrow a friend’s bike, or get on your own bike, and practice manoeuvres such as weaving through safety cones, steering around corners and riding in a straight line.
