What does the European Society for Brain Stimulation do?

Medical professionals, psychologists, neuroscientists, and others who work in and are interested in neurostimulation and neuromodulation, including students, come together as the European Society for Brain Stimulation. The brain stimulation therapy with the longest history of use and the most extensive body of research is electroconvulsive therapy. Newer and, in some cases, still experimental stimulation therapies are covered here. The stimulation of the vagus nerve (VNS) is one of them.
