Fourth grade students learn about health-enhancing behaviors and how nutrition and physical activity positively affect our body. They will also learn about goal-setting, analyzing influences, how to access valid health information, and the benefits of physical activity and proper rest. Students learn about physical, social, and emotional wellness. They discover how decision making and goal setting can help maintain balance in their lives. Grade 8 students take six required subjects to learn more about themselves and the world: English Language Arts, Health and Life Skills, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science and Social Studies.
