The Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) will host the society’s annual convention from February 23–25, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States of America. For our annual conventions, we typically anticipate 3,500–4,000 attendees, including exhibitors; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we anticipate that the attendance figures for our meeting in 2023 will be different from usual. How should SPSP be understood?
Social and Personality Psychology Society. Aggression, discrimination, group dynamics, interpersonal dynamics, prejudice, and violence are six topics covered in social psychology. Sociocultural, evolutionary, social learning, and social-cognitive are the four main strands of social psychology.The three main focuses of social psychology are social influence, social behavior, and social thinking.The investigation of each of these issues places less emphasis on perceptions, hormones, or DNA and more on interactions, behavior, and culture. This emphasis on intricate connections and interactions contributes to one of the challenges of social psychology research.
