Published by the american psychological association, the journal of counseling psychology is a peer-reviewed academic journal. Research in counseling psychology is covered by this organization, which was founded in 1954. Professional counselors employ a variety of strategies. The psychodynamic, humanistic, and behavioral approaches may be the three main ones.
