Is it forbidden to steal ideas?
It is only permitted to copy any concepts covered by the Copyright Act with the owner’s consent. Anyone who copies and pastes an idea without notifying the owner and without his permission is violating the owner’s copyright. Owners of copyrights have the exclusive right to disseminate and commercialize their ideas, and copying or revising another person’s writing is almost always considered a copyright violation. If a copyright violation is willful and involves a certain kind or amount of infringement, it is absolutely possible to go to jail for it.
