Is BMC Scopus indexed?
BMC Public Health (ISSN 1471-2458) is indexed/tracked/covered by PubMed, MEDLINE, CAS, EMBASE, Scopus, Current Contents, FSTA, Thomson Reuters (ISI) and Google Scholar. JPMA was started in 1953 and has been indexed in Index Medicus and PubMed since January 1975. It is one of the first and the oldest general medical journal published in Pakistan that has been indexed by the PubMed. The journals indexed in Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases automatically become part of Group A of the UGC-CARE List. As per our agreement with Elsevier (Scopus is an Elsevier product), signed in February 2022, all books published from January 2021 will be indexed. PubMed and Medline (Ovid) content is a subset of Scopus. PubMed indexes around 6000 journals, Scopus indexes around an additional 17,000 (total around 24,000) journals including most, but not all, of the content of the Embase database.
Is Indian Journal of Psychiatry Scopus indexed?
The journal is abstracted and indexed in Scopus, EBSCO databases, Expanded Academic ASAP, IndMed, and InfoTrac. Information Systems Frontiers is indexed by Scopus. However, the researchers can download the complete list of Elsevier Q1 journals from the official website of Scopus. Web of Science has a greater depth of scientific citations, while Scopus focuses on more modern sources, because its database was founded later and is “younger”.
Is BMC indexed in PubMed?
Like the other journals in the BMC stable, BMC Medicine is an open access journal, funded by article processing fees. Available to the public online since 1996, PubMed was developed and is maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Is Springer Scopus indexed?
Most of our journals are also indexed by Scopus. SpringerOpen works closely with discipline-specific indexing services to ensure our journals are widely indexed. All articles in biomedical journals published by SpringerOpen are included immediately in PubMed and PubMed Central. It is known to be the best abstraction and citation database for peer-reviewed journals. So, if a Scopus indexed journal is said to be Scopus indexed, it means that the works published by them in their journals are also cited among the 70 million other works embedded in the Scopus database. Each subject category of journals is divided into four quartiles: Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. Q1 contains the top 25% of journals in the list. There are 1,140 Springer journals that fall under the 1st quartile. In this blog post, we are providing the list of Springer Q1 journals. Web of Science and Scopus both have “some” proceedings and books but they are mainly covering journal articles. Book coverage – Google Scholar excels at this way more than the others as it covers Google Books content along with other freely-accessible online publications.
