How much does it cost to publish a paper in Elsevier?
We offer a choice of journals with open access publishing charges ranging from $150 to $9,900. We will also consider requests for accommodations on a case by case basis for authors who are required to publish open access but do not have the financial means to do so. Traditional subscription-based journals require the reader to pay for access to the journal; the author does not have to pay any charges for publishing in the journal. On the other hand, in the open access model of publication, journals may charge a fee to the author to cover the costs of publishing. Most journals charge a significant fee to those submitting a paper, sometimes in the thousands of dollars. The paper’s author might have to pay these fees, although sometimes his or her university or institution has a subscription fee or otherwise covers the cost of publishing. IEEE Access is a gold fully open access journal supported by article processing charges (APCs). The APC is $1,950 per article (plus applicable local taxes) without page limits. Elsevier’s APCs are set on a per journal basis, fees range between approximately $150 and $9,900 US Dollars, excluding tax, with prices clearly displayed on our APC price list and on journal homepages.

How much does it cost to publish in an international journal?

Which Elsevier journals are free publication fee?
All articles in open access journals which are published by Elsevier have undergone peer review and upon acceptance are immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. We make raw research data freely available for users to download and use alongside the article. The Elsevier Store offers online or print personal subscriptions to many of our titles. MDPI is among the largest publishers in the world in terms of journal article output, and is the largest publisher of open access articles. Both Elsevier and Springer are great publishers with many good journals. Frontiers is also becoming a big giant in the field. From my personal experience, articles of the same quality in Elsevier are usually more cited than in Springer, even when they are both open access.
How much does it cost to publish on Pubmed?
To sustain this while managing the expected increase in workflow, we are introducing a publication charge for articles accepted by Open Medicine.
