What does the Association of Black Psychologists aim to accomplish?
The Association is set up to serve only charitable and educational goals, such as advancing the field of African psychology, influencing and effecting social change, and creating initiatives to help black communities and other ethnic groups with their problems. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the seven fundamental fields of Black studies: Black History, Black Sociology, Black Religion, Black Economics, Black Politics, Black Psychology, and the humanities (Black Literature, Art, and Music).
